The rooms are a good size and the bathroom facilities are excellent. The Scottish breakfast included in the price is exceptional, with a wide variety of items cooked to perfection.
One negative aspect is the lack of lifts in the hotel, which could be inconvenient for guests with heavy luggage or mobility issues.

The rooms are basic but offer all the necessary amenities, including tea making facilities and new shower facilities. The breakfast provided is tasty and served promptly at 8.00am.
